When students returned to the Wright College campus this fall, they were met with updated furniture in various sections of the school, including new tables in the library and booths in the Learning Resource Center lobby.
The new furniture replaced the old tables with center-mounted lights and wooden curved-back chairs in the library and some of the communal high-topped tables in the LRC lobby.
Here is a look of how some students are enjoying the new furniture at Wright College:
First-year student, Guilliano Barrera, said, "I really love these booths because they're really useful for focusing on work and for charging a computer or phone."
New student Christopher Lopez also praised the booths. He called them "very relaxing to sit on when you're either waiting for class or just studying."
Sophomore Katherine Uruchima, said, "I think the booths are a unique idea for those looking for a spot to study or take a class in."
Hunsci Hernandez said the booths "are convenient for zoom classes."
Daniel Huerta, said, "I think the furniture is very comfortable, especially the booths and the chairs in the library." (All photos by Celestine McGowan.)
