Wright works to create a welcoming environment and make sure everyone feels like they fit in. As everyone may know, February is Black History month and throughout this month there have been various events that emphasize Black History month. This Taco Tuesday event centered around that and students participated in a game of Kahoot to either learn a new fact or show off their knowledge of significant historical events surrounding Black History Month.

Once you experience Taco Tuesday, you will always look forward to the next one because it is such a great experience and something that can really motivate you for the rest of your day. “Being at Taco Tuesday relieves me from the stress that I have from my classes and all the homework that I get,” Mary Parson said. Many students come to the event to enjoy some good food. “I love coming to Taco Tuesday whenever it happens because I am able to enjoy a really good meal,” Tyrese Anderson said. “ I think that this event is really good and I love how educational it is. They give us incentives for participating in fun activities. I appreciate the chance to learn about black history month,” Jocelyn Guadarrama added.

Upcoming Taco Tuesdays for the month of March will focus on and celebrate Women’s History Month- on March 5 and 12.
