The Men’s Rams basketball team was trying to catch up to Sauk Valley all Thursday night, ultimately facing a defeat, 85-51.
After the game, player Jamarr Jones said the team needed to work on “communication more and executing our plays.”

Fellow player Ali Hadi said, “We can bounce back by going back to what we know works, trusting the process and trusting the work.”
The Rams’ home opener is Nov 11 when they host Black Hawk College-Moline at 3p.m.
Women Find Scoring Stride in Second Half Kicking off the new season, the Lady Rams also faced Sauk Valley Thursday night. Both teams showcased their exceptional athleticism and tactical prowess.
Sauk Valley overpowered the Lady Rams during the first half. However, the Lady Rams showed unyielding defense coupled with precise shooting in the fourth quarter. Despite their best effort, the Lady Rams lost to the Skyhawks, 67-30.
The Lady Rams will face College of Lake County in an away game on Nov 7. The tip-off is at 5p.m.
